Bio: Ken Mahou watched his parents die at the age of 5. He was powerless to do anything, and the pain has not yet left him. After being saved from near death by a mysterious person, who was later revealed as his sensei, Ken studied in the arts of magic. While he studied, his class mates always picked on him because of his weak build (often, mages are not very strong nor fast due to the intense training they do on the mind). When he went to his sensei, he was told that he could be taught in an ancient magic that utilized close combat with strong magic. After 2 years of studying this ancient magic, Ken's sensei was attacked and killed. Ken, feeling powerless for the second time in his life, dedicated his life to studying ancient magic so that he can save people and no longer feel powerless.

Though Ken is a mage, he uses close combat. He does not use spells, rather, ancient magic for hand to hand close combat, making him a warrior. Since that is all you care about, I classified him as a warrior that uses magic combat. Sufficient?
